This is a particularly fun area of the site for me, but it might be a little confusing for those who aren't totally familiar with Frank's sound because on some of these youtube vids, there is no image aside from the album covers. And to make things more confusing, Frank often appears alongside other trombonists, so which one is he? Well, listen carefully to the second clip, with the hipsters on the album cover. It's a JJ Johnson track with multiple players. Frank's solo is after the piano solo, and it's a classic representation of his tone, his range (and how he uses it) and then keep that in mind as you listen to others!

Thankfully, on most of these clips, the only trombone you'll hear is Frank. But once in a while...
